1. About CarVerifier

CarVerifier (“we”, “us”) is an independent commercial vehicle data lookup service operated by an individual sole trader trading as CarVerifier. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the DVLA, GOV.UK, or any official government agency. Contact: support@carverifier.co.uk.

2. What we provide

CarVerifier provides digital vehicle history reports generated from data supplied by third-party providers, including but not limited to the auto.dev vehicle data API. Reports are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of the underlying data.

3. Pricing and credits

A single unlocked report costs £14.99 (GBP, inc. VAT where applicable). Multi-report credit packs are sold at the prices displayed on the pricing page. Credits do not expire. Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable once used.

4. Immediate access & consumer rights

Reports are digital content delivered immediately after payment. By purchasing, you request immediate access and expressly acknowledge that your 14-day statutory cancellation right under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 is waived once report generation begins.

5. Refunds

If a valid VIN fails to return usable data or the third-party API returns an unresolvable error, we will refund 100% of your payment. See our Refund Policy for the full process.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use CarVerifier to scrape, resell, redistribute, or systematically extract data at volume beyond your purchased credits. Automated abuse may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a report is limited to the price paid for that report. We are not liable for consequential losses arising from reliance on third-party data.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
